New Open Access Journal: Enki & Ptah. Journal of Technology and Trade in Ancient Egypt and Western Asia

Enki & Ptah. Journal of Technology and Trade in Ancient Egypt and Western Asia is a scientific journal published once a year by the Milano University Press, within the disciplines of Egyptology and Near Eastern studies, focused on technology, science, crafts, exchange and commercial interactions in ancient Egypt, Nubia, the Eastern Mediterranean and Western Asia. Enki & Ptah. Journal of Technology and Trade in Ancient Egypt and Western Asia accepts contributions in English dealing with archaeology, history, and philology, and intends to fill a gap in national and international scientific journals in relation to thematically oriented products.

The journal offers an environment specifically connected to the cultures of Egypt and Western Asia within the international research on the technology, economy, and trade in the ancient world.

Peer-review process

The scientific quality control system adopted by the journal involves a process of double-blind peer review with external reviewers chosen by the Editorial Committee and the positive opinion expressed by the Scientific Committee. The Editorial Committee will ensure that the authors consider what is indicated by the Scientific Committee and the reviewers.

The publication proposals in the series are outlined by the Scientific/Editorial Committee.
