Welcome to the Mount Athos Repository, where you can access to more than
300,000 digital objects, like manuscripts, historical documents, books,
icons and other sacred heirlooms. Each digital object consists of a
number of image files as well as the metadata of its documentation.
Through
the Mount Athos Repository you can browse, search and retrieve the
digital objects contained, either by browsing the collections or by
exploring by the time period that the original objects were created.
Furthermore, you can search the metadata of the digital items by
entering a keyword or key phrase, while with the advanced search engine
you are able, among a variety of criteria, to limit the results that
will ultimately lead you to what you are looking for.
