Cartagine. Studi e Ricerche (CaSteR) è la rivista internazionale, accademica, peer-reviewed e Open Access, della Società Scientifica Scuola Archeologica Italiana di Cartagine (SAIC).

Ambito e orizzonte culturale

L'ambito culturale della rivista è quello delle scienze storiche, archeologiche e dell’antichità, della storia dell’arte, della conservazione, della valorizzazione e del restauro dei beni culturali. L'ambito cronologico di riferimento va dalla preistoria fino al periodo fatimide (XII sec.) mentre dal punto di vista geografico l'area di elezione è quella dell'Africa del Nord (in particolare Tunisia e paesi del Maghreb) intesa sia come spazio geografico fisico che come termine culturale di raffronto per studi che trattino di aspetti comuni ad altre aree e di rapporti di interscambio culturale e materiale. Particolare attenzione verrà inoltre riservata agli studi che tratteranno di aspetti collegati alla musealizzazione, al restauro dei monumenti, alle tematiche collegate alla valorizzazione dei giacimenti culturali materiali e immateriali.

Scopo

La rivista si propone di incoraggiare, negli ambiti sopra identificati, la ricerca interdisciplinare sull'area nord Africana ed in particolare in Tunisia proponendosi come un contenitore di scambio e confronto non solo tra i componenti della comunità accademica degli specialisti di settore ma, superando i confini nazionali, tra le diverse comunità accademiche e la società civile.

Tipo di documenti editi

I contenuti della rivista saranno principalmente testi a stampa corredati da immagini fotografiche, disegni in vari formati (raster e vettoriali), filmati video e file contenenti dati testuali. Potranno essere inoltre sottoposti alla valutazione di CaSteR per l'edizione anche lavori multimediali purché rigorosamente a carattere scientifico e di ambito cronologico, geografico e culturale assolutamente coerente con le linee editoriali sopra esposte.

Afrique : Archéologie & Arts est une revue annuelle dédiée à l’archéologie et aux arts d’Afrique. Elle rend compte de la diversité des cultures anciennes du continent en s'appuyant sur des disciplines connexes (géomorphologie, archéométrie...), privilégiant, pour l'étude des productions artistiques, les méthodes de l’histoire de l’art. Fondée par l’équipe Afrique de l’UMR 7041 du CNRS, elle regroupe des travaux originaux, des synthèses, des cahiers thématiques et présente les écrits universitaires de qualité soutenus dans l’année. Ces textes – en français ou en anglais – sont accompagnés d’une abondante documentation iconographique.

Afrique : Archéologie & Arts paraît en version imprimée et en version numérique. Les anciens numéros de la collection seront prochainement numérisées et accessibles sur le site.

    Die Reihe “Studies in African Archaeology” (SAA) wird seit 1984 vom Archaeological Museum in Poznań (PL ISSN 0866-9244) herausgegeben. In der Reihe erscheinen Monographien zur Vorgeschichte des nord-östlichen Afrikas sowie Tagungsberichte der alle vier Jahre stattfindenden Konferenz “Later Prehistory of Northeastern Africa” (LPNEA), die seit 1980 in Polen durchgeführt wird.

    In Search of the Origins of Lower Egyptian Pottery: A New Approach to Old Data

    Ein Bericht über Studien, die die Autorin von 2015 bis 2018 im Rahmen des Projekts "The Development of the Early Neolithic Societies in Lower Egypt in the 5th Millennium BC and their Interactions with the Southern Levant", finanziert durch das National Wissenschaftszentrum Polen durchführte. Ein Schwerpunkt bilden die Untersuchungen zu Ursprüngen der neolithischen Keramik in Unterägypten.

    Vom 21.-22. Juni 2013 fand im Archäologischen Museum in Posen  das internationale Symposium „The Nile Delta as a centre of cultural interactions between Upper Egypt and the Southern Levant in the 4th millennium BC“ statt.
    Die Vorträge des Symposiums sind in Band 13 der Studies of African Archaeology publiziert.
    Inhaltlich konzentrieren sich die Themen schwerpunktmäßig auf nterägypten (und das oberägyptischen El Kab) sowie das heutige Israel und setzen einzelne archäologischen Stätten dieser Zeit in Beziehung zueinander.

    Lower Egyptian Communities and Their Interactions with Southern Levant in the 4th Millennium BC

    Das Nildelta in der prädynastischen Zeit und der Kulturkontakt zu den Gesellschaften der Südlevante in der Kupferzeit und der frühen Bronzezeit sind das Thema in Band 12 der Studies in African Archaeology.
    Neue Grabungsergebnisse, die weitere Erkenntnisse zur Entwicklungsgeschichte der Südlevante erbrachten sind Thema des Bandes. Die Monographie basiert auf der Dissertation der Autorin im Jahr 2004, erweitert um neue Erkenntnisse der nachfolgenden 10 Jahre.

    Im  vom Poznań Archaeological Museum herausgegebenen 10 Band der Studies in African Archaeology werden die neolithische Siedlung und der Friedhof in Kadero in Zentralsudan vorgestellt. Die vorliegende Publikation trägt die Ergebnisse von mehr als 30 Jahren Forschung zusammen und soll als Ausgangspunkt für weitere neolithische Studien in dieser Region dienen.

    Ceramika neolityczna w środkowym Sudanie

    Die Veröffentlichung von Band 6 der "Studies in African Archaeology" war für 1987 geplant.
    Nach mehr als 30 Jahren wurde der Band, der die Ergebniss der archäologischen Grabungen, die zwischen 1972 und 1982 in Kadero durchgeführt wurden, vorstellen sollte, publiziert. Da viele der seinerzeit zur Veröffentlichung vorgesehenen Ergebnisse inzwischen durch neue Erkenntnisse überholt sind, werden im vorliegenden Band jetzt die Keramiken der Fundorte u.a. von Shaqadud, Geili, Ghaba, Kadada, Umm Direiwa und Zakiab präsentiert.
