Welcome to THE DESERT TEAM (Fariq Al Sahra) website
We are a team of amateur Saudi travelers and researchers who are interested in Arabian desert and its history, geography and archeology.
We start publishing our reports in this website since 2004. These reports include our travel tales, researches, photographs and videos.
Our objectives from this website includes:
1-Sharing our trip reports with people who enjoy such travel writings.
2- Documentation of current state of some sites , this might be of vital importance in the future with current environmental destruction caused by accelerated urbanization.
3-We campaign to save desert environment and heritage sites from the ongoing damage.
4- We hope that our website will attract individuals who share the same interest from all over the world for more cooperation.
Finally…this site is in Arabic , you can use Google translate for translation to your language. There is a dedicated button for that at the bottom of each post. Alternatively you can just browse the images.
