The journal Folia Archaeologica Balkanica is a triennial publication aimed at addressing the needs of the educational and scientific work in the fields of archaeology, history, art history and classical studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje.
This journal exclusively accepts submissions by teachers and associates employed at the Faculty, as well as distinguished researchers in the fields of archaeology, history, art history and classical studies from other universities and similar institutions in the country and abroad.
Each issue of the journal is dedicated to one of the eminent archaeologists and professors at the institute of art history and archaeology who have made a significant contribution to the domain of international archaeological research with their scientific achievements.
The international archaeo-journal Folia Archaeologica Balkanica is published triennially in a press run of 500 copies. Untill now, three issues of the magazine have been published, dedicated to the esteemed professors at the institute of art history and archaeology: academician prof. Vera Bitrakova Grozdanova, prof. Ivan Mikulčić, and prof. Elica Maneva.
