Feed Aggregator for Antiquities Trade and Looting

Doug Rocks-Macqueen's blog: Doug's Archaeology  presents a very interesting list of 17 Great Archaeology Blogs on the Antiquities Trade and Looting That YOU Should Read.

What makes it even more useful is that he has built a feed aggregator for them using (google bundle).

I hope this can be enhanced over time be adding feeds from the few blogs and mailing lists that advocate for antiquities collecting and collectors, particularly since these groups react to one another on a regular basis.  I think it would also be useful to include the feeds from the pertinent online journals.

In any case, well done Doug!  Some among you will notice that I mentioned late last week his Searchable list of 250+ Open Access Archaeology Publications in another blog he writes: Open Access Archaeology.

Global Heritage Network (GHN): An Early Warning and Collaborative Solutions Platform

Major archaeological and cultural heritage sites are being damaged and destroyed at an alarming rate around the globe, perhaps nowhere as quickly as in developing countries and regions with limited financial resources or expertise available.
To address this crisis, GHF has established Global Heritage Network (GHN) to:

• Act as an early warning and threats monitoring system for
      endangered archaeological and cultural heritage sites in
      developing countries.
• Enable the collaboration of experts and conservation leaders to
      mitigate the threats.
• Facilitate a holistic, Preservation by Design® process of planning,
      science, community and partnerships to preserve these sites.

To achieve this, GHN consists of three components:

• The GHN Sites interactive database
• The GHN Community social network
• The GHN Library of heritage preservation literature
