Études byzantines et post-byzantines (EBPB) is a peer-reviewed annual journal (ISSN: 0259-0913), published under the auspices of the Romanian Society for Byzantine Studies. It showcases cutting-edge research in Byzantine and post-Byzantine studies. Founded in 1979 under the direction of Nicolae-Șerban Tanașoca and Eugen Stănescu, the journal entered a new phase in 2019 with the launch of a yearly series edited by Andrei Timotin and published by Herlo Verlag in Heidelberg. 

The issues of the new series of EBPB are freely available in open access on the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) as well as on this website.
