The focus of the Bulletin is the prehistory of eastern Asia (east of 70º longitude) and the Pacific region. Regions thus defined include South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania (the latter including Australasia). The Bulletin aims to maintain regular scholarly communication between researchers in these regions, and has published many papers from our 4-yearly international congresses. BIPPA also considers papers on all apects of Indo-Pacific palaeohistory, from archaeological, biological and linguistic perspectives.
