Alphabetical list of Open Access Journals in Ancient Studies

I first assembled here an alphabetical list of all open access journals in Ancient Studies (with some hot pursuit forays into related disciplines) cited here in AWOL since its beginning in January 2009 in observance of Open Access Week (October 19-23, 2009). At that time the list included more than two hundred titles - a surprisingly large number I thought at the time. In a effort to make the List canonical and comprehensive, I began adding additional journals in groups of twenty. All of these have been accessible via Abzu for varying lengths of time. This process offered me the opportunity to verify all the links and repair the broken ones.

I trust that users of the list will offer suggestions for correction of errors and addition of new titles in the comment field available at the bottom of the posting

[Version 1 was posted on October 22, 2009. Updated to include titles cited in AWOL as of December 21, 2009. All eJournals mentioned in AWOL or added to the Abzu database are added to this list as they appear]

This list contains 505 titles.

A million "thanks" for these links, especially for the Bulletin of the Jewish Palestine Exploration Society, which I didn't know was online. One particular issue had eluded me for years since this series is hard to find in libraries. It's an early petrographical analysis of LMLK jars, & the results contradict later studies using advanced techniques, so it was really neat to finally get to read it!

Congratulations on the initiative. Remarkable!
You could also add the Portuguese Journal Humanitas (http://www.uc.pt/fluc/eclassicos/publicacoes/humanitas)
and the new e-library of Coimbra University, called Classica Digitalia (http://bdigital.sib.uc.pt:8080/classicadigitalia_eng/).
The access and download are free.
Best wishes,

It may be added "Byzantion"

Thank you Serge. Byzantion (http://www.kbr.be/~tnazyb/) is a good journal but not available online open access, only by subscription.
