vHMML is a project developed by the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library in collaboration with scholars and software developers drawn from a variety of institutions. The goal is to support both new and advanced users of manuscripts by providing a rich online environment for manuscript studies in a variety of languages. vHMML is being developed with a major grant from the Institute of Museum & Library Services, a federal agency (www.imls.gov), and additional support from the Arcadia Fund of London. Initial development work will be done over a two-year period beginning in October 2012.
