Das vorliegende Werk liefert Daten zu mehr als 2700 römischen Bleibarren. Durch die innovative Kombination epigraphischer, archäologischer und archäometallurgischer Forschungsmethodik bietet es eine Grundlage für die Gewinnung vertiefter Einblicke in die antike Wirtschaftsgeschichte im Bereich der Metallgewinnung und Rohstoffdistribution.
