A Finding Aid for the Pylos Excavations Archive

A new finding aid for the Pylos Excavations Archive at the ASCSA has replaced the old inventory. In addition, with the remainder of a grant from the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation, which funded the organization and publication of a conference in honor of Carl and Elizabeth Blegen in 2013-2014, we digitized a number of excavation notebooks.

The thorough finding aid is the intellectual product of Research Archivist, Dr. Leda Costaki (with the exception of the catalog of the Pylos frescoes which was done by Eileen Gantos in 1996). Dr. Jeff Kramer, Post-Doctoral Fellow (Archivist of Excavation Records), is currently completing a similar finding aid for the Pylos Excavation records in the Classics Department of the University of Cincinnati.
