Open Access partnerships with HATHI Trust

As announced earlier this week, the American Schools of Oriental Research has released an important set of back-list titles into an open access format. As announced today, E J Brill has also released, via the Ancient World Digital Library, an important set of back-list titles into an open access format.  This is an excellent step forward for open scholarship and the sharing of knowledge worldwide.

A couple of other organizations dealing with antiquity have released back list titles thought HATHITrust:

American Numismatic Society

540 American Numismatic Society publications are now available as full-text for free use by the public.
