Persian World is the official journal of Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group. The journal was established by Dr. Shahin Aryamanesh. Persian World is an international, peer-reviewed journal, publishes high-quality, original research. Persian World is a journal covering all aspects of Persian studies and presents articles on the whole spectrum of Persian Studies, including articles on the history, religion, art, archaeology, anthropology, linguistics, epigraphy, and numismatics of Persia and the Persianate world. Its scope includes all areas of the world with an Iranian or Persian legacy, especially Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, the Indian Subcontinent, Transoxiana, the Caucasus, and Asia Minor.
