Articles on ancient Near Eastern music at ICONEA

 A steady stream of articles on ancient Near Eastern music is now appearing in the Articles section of the ICONEA website.

ICONEA is a Research Group hosted at the Institute of Musical Research, Royal Holloway, University of London. It was founded in 2008 by Irving Finkel and Richard Dumbrill who is the Research Director with Bruno de Florence as Deputy Director. ICONEA held many conferences at the University of London, at the Sorbonne University in Paris and at the University of Oxford. We are now operating exclusively online to avoid all the logistics problems with travelling and costs.

We are now the host of articles, videos and will shortly be launching video-conferencing. ICONEA is inclusive and will also consider papers from independent researchers or students.
