The Journal of Ancient Fingerprints was initiated in 2005 by the newly formed non-profi organisation The Society of Ancient Fingerprints.

Our Journal is published on the internet and is available for free download.

Working on a long-term flotation project for the ancient Philistine site of Ashkelon, Israel, I have come across numerous fingerprints, on clay, in fired ceramics, and on fragments from bread ovens which had been laid in coils before firing. Wonder if there is a world archive for ancient fingerprints.
