Almanac “Scripta antiqua. Ancient
History, Philology, Art and Material Culture” annually publishes
original articles in Russian and foreign languages by leading Russian
and foreign scholars on the history and culture of ancient
civilizations, including works on the history, art, languages,
literatures and material culture of Classical and Oriental societies,
nomadic peoples of Eurasia, ancient architecture, epigraphy, political
history, private and public life, the history of ancient law, the
Christian Orient, the history of historical science as well as ancient
and early medieval sources.
Almanac is published
under the auspices of G.M. Bongard-Levin International Institute of the
Ancient World in the publishing house “Sobrabie” (Russia, Moscow). ISSN 2221-9560.
All publications are reviewed and accompanied by summaries in Russian and English.
The almanac is registered as an electronic media in the Federal
Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and
Mass Communications (Roskomnadzor).
