The Ethics Liaison Group of ARWA, The International Association for Archaeological Research in Western & Central Asia, under the coordination of Cécile Michel, recently proposed a charter labelled ‘ARWA Guidelines for Ethical and Responsible Research’.

This 4 page-document is the result of several meetings between the international and intergenerational members of this committee. The charter has been adopted by the Executive Board of the association.
