Ancient Egyptian Object Stories
Ancient Egyptian Object Stories is a series of videos, each under ten
minutes long, that showcase one or a group of object(s) from ancient
Egypt. These videos aim to quickly educate the viewer about aspects of
ancient Egyptian history, art, archaeology, and culture. For people who
like Egypt but don't have a lot of time to study it all day.
Briana Jackson holds a PhD in ancient Egyptian art and archaeology from

religion, and international relations of the late 18th Dynasty,
particularly the reigns of Amenhotep III and Akhenaten. Her doctoral
dissertation examined the spread of Atenism as a network throughout
Egypt and Sudan. She has worked for several years at the ancient site
Abydos and is currently working on a number of other projects. For more
