IAOS Bulletin [International Association for Obsidian Studies]
The IAOS Web site was initially established in September of 1995 to provide Internet access to resources that will be of use to the international community of researchers working with obsidian glass. This site and many of these resources were developed under the auspices of the International Association for Obsidian Studies.
We welcome any comments that you may have about what you'd like to see included here or improvements that you would like to make. If something does not work, let the IAOS webmaster know about it. If you have obsidian-related information that you would like to post - announcements, research projects, ongoing graduate thesis and dissertation research, relevant publications, and so on - send the material via e-mail to the site webmaster and we'll see that it gets posted. We also welcome any new or updated information from obsidian characterization and hydration laboratories.
